My lovehead and I went home for Easter weekend, leaving on Thursday around 2ish, & returning this morning at 9. We left at 4am, which is WHY I'm so exhausted. But, was it worth getting to spend all day Sunday with my fam bam?? ABSOLUTELY!
As usual, we had an amazing time - relaxing and eating. Which is WHY I've gained 4 lbs. back. Between the 2 of us - we never get bored in the 'pine. We would go to my grandparents, and then back out to MY parents house, then to his mom's house, and on Saturday he went out to his ranch which is about 2 hours away, that cycle continued throughout the weekend. My favorite part about the trip was on Sunday.
After sunrise service, we ALL (my entire family + some of Don's fam) went out to my parents house in the country and ate a big Sunday feast! We all sat outside on the porch while my grandpa told us stories of his smoke-jumping days. We laughed til we cried, and watched the sunset. Sounds like a scene from a movie, huh? Well, that's what it feels like when we go home. Bliss. I got to rub my sissies tiny little baby bump the entire time, and that made me so giddy & happy. :) I can't say she appreciated it. hehe.
I still can't believe I'm going to be an Aunt to a precious baby girl! :):):) I can't say enough how BLESSED we both are. We have families that love us so much, and that is the greatest feeling in the WORLD!
