Crafts, Shakes, & Church

Hey y'all! I'm actually in a spectacular mood this Monday morning - which is rare because Monday mornings always feel like a drag. :) It's 7/11 - which only means we have a slurpee date! ha! I had a GREAT weekend & I did exactly what I said I was going to do - pretty much nothing, ha!!

Friday night when I got off work, I headed home to my sweet puppy girls & loverhead. We ordered pizza, & started watching Lost on Netflix.

Saturday I slept in, & headed to Hobby Lobby, Sams, & Wal-Mart. I LOVE to craft, and I got pretty "crafty" on Saturday - I can't wait to show you some of my stuff. I'll save it for later this week :) Since I had missed church the past couple weeks, I listened to all of them online while I cleaned.

Oh - I also stopped by Chick-fil-A & had me a peach shake. AHHH heaven! It comes close to the banana pudding shake.

Later that night, I made dinner - homemade lasagna & took ZERO pics, sorry y'all! :( Let me just say - it was DELICIOUS. I am lovin' the whole cooking shin-dig!

Sunday - CHURCH at 10! It felt SOOOOOOOOO good to be back! Since I never do an OOTD - here is a simple one I wore on Sunday. Comfy.

D went & played golf with his buddies after while I went with my sweet friend Lauren to lunch at Abuelos! I love Mexican Food - I could probably eat it every single day & never get tired of it. We decided we needed to fill our sweet tooth so we opted for Sheridans ice-cream! YUM! And then I headed to a quick trip to Target - I bought that little onsie with my niece that says, "Current Family Favorite" & that could not be more true!

Never mind the 3 hour nap I took.....

We met up again to see the movie, Horrible Bosses. Well, we got there too late & it was SOLD OUT. Womp, womp. SO... you know the movie Larry Crowne with Julia Roberts & Tom Hanks?
Well the guy at the window suggested we see that one instead because hardly any tickets were sold. So we booked it to the concession stand for our hot dogs, popcorn, candy, & coke & headed to the empty movie theatre.

I have to be honest & say at this point I was more excited for my hot dog.

But O my Word y'all - it was SO GOOD!!! It is definitely a "feel-good" kind of movie & it was just what we needed. I HIGHLY recommend. I still want to see Horrible Bosses & Bad Teacher though. :)

It was a nice, relaxing weekend & I'm SO ready to tackle this week! :) Tonight we're going to prayer, & I can't wait. I also can't wait to come home & watch The Bachelor! Yay for reality TV & ice-cream. :)
