Weight Loss

So, I've been pretty bad about keeping up with my "weight loss journey." So now, I shall tell you all a little bit about it. :)

Go HERE to read my post that started it all. After that - come back to read the rest. :)

SOOOO since then, Bikini Bootcamp is OVER! I definitely don't miss waking up at 5:15 am every morning, but I do miss all the girls & having my work out knocked out by 7.

There isn't really much to tell except that I've lost about 15 lbs! Yay! :) I feel much better - my clothes fit not-so-snug which is nice! I still want to lose 6-7 more lbs but I'm pretty happy with where I'm at! I did realize that I do NOT want to be as skinny as I was when I moved to L - I love my curves. :) I never thought I would say that! I guess that's what maturing does to you, huh? :)

For those wondering how I lost it - no secrets here. All I did was eat healthy & work out. That's it. I was making it WAY more complicated than it should be - which is what a lot of us do I think. I pretty much ate what I love, but in moderation. You want some cookies & milk before bed? Just eat one cookie :) Are you craving that Mexican food? Eat half the plate & take the rest home. Just try not to think about it as much. :)

Such great advice. I do a pretty good job watching what I eat and keeping in shape. I sometimes have my moments though where I lose control and eat a family bag of pretzel m+ms...it can get the best of us sometimes...haha. But I always try to get back on the wagon the next day:)

Congrats on your success!! What you said is so true - no secrets, just lots of hard work, sweat, early mornings & discipline get the job done. Instead of thinking about what stops me from jumping on the treadmill, I think about what's pushing me: sometimes it's a bridesmaid dress (like I blogged about here: http://blessyourheartva.blogspot.com/2011/01/hello-bridesmaid-dress-meet-my-new.html) but over all, it's to be healthy, feel good & take care of the body God gave me :)

Congratulations! :) I also LOVE food (and Dr. Pepper!) Even though other people might not notice, WE notice when our clothes don't fit as well as they should. I would love to do a bootcamp type thing. It would be nice to just get it over with every morning and also to be held accountable. Unfortch, I live in BFE, so I guess I'll just try to continue to be motivated to do P90X...
