I'm LOVING.... that Valentines Day is right around the corner! I picked up this cute rug at the one & only Target yesterday...

I'm LOVING.... this new addition to the family! My loveheads mom "picked up" this cute malti-poo yesterday! His name is Hudson & I cant hardly wait to meet him!!!

I'm LOVING...my new sunglasses D bought for me! :)

I'm LOVING... these cute Dr Pepper cans! Have I ever told y'all how I think I belong in the 1950's era?! Another post for another day!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

OK y'all....this is the only chance I've had to blog all day...and I could not miss out on WILW.

I'm LOVING.....THE LORD! Seriously...He has blessed me with SO much. I had a big time realization on how blessed I really am this weekend. I love my life.

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME - all the time GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!

Short post - I know. But tonight & everyday all the Glory goes to Him.

Black Vanilla Current

OK....so on our way to Sun Harvest (our new grocery store where everything is FRESH & expensive) I "stumbled" upon Bath & Body Works; let me just say its in the same shopping square....ok ok its next door. ha! I love that place.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLL I ended up spending waytoomuch money on this AMAZING stuff. Girls............I kid you not --- this is the MOST amazing smell EVER.

It's called: Black Vanilla Current. Its awesome & amazing. Not a vanilla lover? Me either. Don't worry...it doesnt smell anything like vanilla....it smells of amaziness. Its sexy & romantic...but not too much that you can't wear it in the middle of the day. Even if it were too romantic, I'd still wear it 24/7. Ha.It's in the aromatherapy section, so go buy at least the lotion....& let me know what ya think. :) Today I purchased the lotion, oil (that you burn), a candle, bodywash, & 2 (YES - T-W-O) sprays.

I used the word amazing 4 times during this post......ha! Which must mean its pretty dang amazing. Oops - 5.

I am now making myself laugh...while probably annoying the heck out of y'all. Its called too much coffee...hehe. Happy Thursday ladies!

I'm LOVING... that I have the sweetest lovehead ever. I got home last night from a LONG day...and he had the perfect fire going...& the perfect meal ready. I love him. :) He also so willingly went to the store for me...a girl can't live without her coffee creamer & Diet Coke!

Relaxing Weekend!

I hope all of you sweet girls had a great weekend! From what I saw on MY facebook...everyone had a very lazy weekend - which makes me feel better about mine. :)

Friday night my lovehead & I made grilled cheese sandwiches, with ice-cream (not together acourse!) & ate them in bed while this cute movie was playing! We have always done our sandwich/ice-cream dates (usually on Tuesday's) but that was our first for this year!

And man oh man....Saturday I got to baby-sit this sweet thang!!! Her name is Presley & I could just eat.her.up! We played dress up for a while.... hehe :) OH AANNNNDD Father of the Bride...and Father of the Bride 2 was on! I still cry when I watch them both...

She was napping while I watched them :) And without further adue...here is the precious Presley!

This is so funny...she is 7 months old & every time I would stand her in front of the mirror...she would laugh, laugh, laugh! I think she already knows how cute she is. I think her daddy is in trouble! ha!

Today we went to church, ate at Abuelos (MY FAV!!!!!), and then took a 3 hour nap. :) Hellooooo laziness! Tonight Real Housewives of Atlanta is on (my ultimate trash TV)...AND so is Sarah Palin's Alaska.

I'm Loving... that Valentines day stuff if already up in stores! What can I say...I'm a sucker for any kind of Holiday! :)

I'm Loving... this pretty chair my grandmother gave me. Well, I kind of begged for it :) we are both suckers for antiques. :) I want to sand it, paint it a gold color (it matches my room), find a seat (where in the world would I find that?!!?), and cover that seat with leopard. May sound weird, but I have an image in my head.

I'm Loving... that I'm getting my teeth cleaned tomorrow! Although I hate going to the dentist - I love me a clean mouth!

I'm Loving... that I got to spend almost 5 hours with friends yesterday! We had lunch at this cute bakery called Sugarbakers - where they have the most AMAZING desert!

It was a day full of eating out - because then we had Rosa's for dinner. Fatties. :)

Miscellany Monday

Well since I got off work early (YAAAAAY!!!) I thought I would participate in Miscellany Monday! :)

I was suprised & got off work today at 11! So I ran errands til 2, stopped by Sonic & grabbed me a Diet DP with vanilla, and now I'm home blogging. :) Oh, and I'm watching recorded episodes of:

...are now dedicated to....THE BACHELOR!! Oh my word, I am so excited I can hardly stand it.

And let me just go ahead & put my "2 cents" in...I actually like Brad. I know I know, every woman in America hates him....BUT I think we all would hate him MORE if he would have chosen a girl (out of pity), and then broke her heart later! At least he was being true & honest with himself. Right? :) Plus, he is pretty easy on the eye, he is FROM TEXAS (my home), and he has that cute twang accent. :)

Simplicity.

I'm a simple gal...if I do say so myself. Simple things in life make me the happiest. Things like:

* True love, feeling LOVED, loving someone with all your heart, loving a dog like it was your own child. Just.... LOVE in general.
* Sonic Diet DP's with vanilla
* A song on the radio that comes on at the EXACT right moment
* The perfect amount of sunshine...you know, the kind the makes the day perfect
* Going home to my small hometown of Alpine, & hugging my family so tight I feel like my heart will burst!
* Conversations with your best friend. Whether it be on the phone, through facebook chat, or in person over a glass of wine or Mexican food... the kind that when you get done you feel.... refreshed. Blessed.
* A night filled with food, jammies, & a great Reality show......... like THE BACHELOR that comes on tomorrow night!!!
* The perfect Bible verse at the perfect moment
* The smell of a new BOOK...Hmmmmm
* My planner & mechanical pencil

Last night, lovehead & I had a "date night" and it was simple, but perfect. We went & ate at our favorite gourmet pizza place...

And then we saw  "Little Fockers"...

It was pretty cute, & funny like all the rest of them! I recommend y'all go see. :) And tonight we are cooking dinner, watching our TV shows, & cuddling by the fire. Hehe....like I said before.... I'm a simple girl. :)

Happy New Year!!!!!

Well....it's officially 2011, can y'all believe it?! I sure can't. This year has definitely been the fastestyearofmylife. Sheesh, I feel like we just celebrated NYE 2010!

Anywho....I literally woke up this morning feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to make this the best year yet! As I said in my last post - we didn't do anything TOO fancy this NYE....I'll leave you with a few pics. We are HIGH CLASS....ha!

At around 11, we made ice-cream Sundays (YUM!), popped in The Fox & the Hound (because that's how we roll), cuddled in bed, & when 12 o'clock hit...we kissed, and were fast asleep by 12:10. ha!

Let me just say - I feel GREAT this morning. I received a call from one of my BFF's, and she did NOT sound too good. Helllooooo headache/hangover!! hehe.  :)

Now I'm off the make some black eyed peas for good luck!
