Feather Extensions

Hey y'all! Happy Monday! Let's just say.... I needed TWO cups of Joe this morning, more coming on this weekend SOON! You won't want to miss it. :)

BUT first... onto more important things. HA. Feather extensions. Have y'all seen them? Well, in Texas - they are EVERYWHERE. I'll be honest & say at first I wasn't so sure about them. In fact, I told myself I'd never get them. But now as they are becoming more popular, they are coming out with different colors that I LOVE. The wedding I was in this weekend - well all the girls had them & I decided then & there I needed them. Yes, need. I figure - when will these be in style again? The time....is now. ;)

I'm sure some people think they are tacky, & they may not be for everyone but that's what makes us all different, right?

Not sure when my next open spot will be where I can get them put in this week, but hopefully SOON!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

WHAT? 2 posts 2 days in a row! ha! Happy Wednesday!

I'm loving.... that whilst I was getting a quick tan out by the pool, & talking to God - something darted into my eye. If you know me - you know I DO NOT like any kind of bugs. Of course I freaked out, but when I took off my sunglasses this sweet ladybug was just sitting there. Talk about a moment. :)

I'm loving... this hairstyle I picked out for Saturday. The bride is letting us pick our own "do" and I'm pretty excited because I haven't had an up-do since High School PROM! ha!

I'm loving.... this cute cute car scent I purchased at Bath & Body Works last weekend. I LOVEEEEEE the 4th of July - definitely my favorite Holiday.

 I'm loving.... that my sister's due date is getting closer & closer! September can't get here soon enough. But until then - keep cookin' sweet baby niece!!! :):):) 

I'm loving.... that our movie theatre got a fun photo booth! We went on a triple date last weekend & saw The Hangover - SO FUNNY, went & ate Mexican food with yummy margaritas, and then went to a little bar because we were having so much fun! :) This date lasted til 2:30am & was worth every second. So much laughter with fun friends!

Last Fling Before the Ring!

This weekend was my friend Chelsea's bachelorette party & mercy - it was FUN! We hung out at the pool all day Saturday, and then headed out in our hummer limo for the night!

I made these "pimp cups" for all the bridesmaids + the bride, 9 in all. Oh & a tacky veil for the bride acourse! So fun!!! :)

I have a SUPER busy week. D's brother will be here tomorrow, softball games all week, girl time on Friday (yay for pedi's & shalack nails!!) rehearsal dinner on Friday night, wedding on Saturday!!!! YAY! I feel like I never blog anymore, I can never find time. BOO! This summer is FLYYYYYYYING by...BUT life is GOOD..... AND bottom line??

Because I am one blessed lady, & I thank God for it every single day.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I'm loving... this cute wallet & bracelet I purchased this past weekend.

I'm loving... that I FINALLY got all my spring cleaning out of the way! I organized every bin & nook, threw away bags & bags of STUFF, dusted & wiped down every area possible, and even gave a lot of my clothes to goodwill. :) organized home = happy girl.

I'm loving... that I subscribed to Southern Living again. You see, I had done it once, but the I guess the order never went through so I finally had a chance to order again. I'm so excited - the recipes and decorating advice are my favorite!!

I'm loving... that we have a fun/low-key weekend planned which includes: planting flowers, going to the drive-in movie (YAY!), I'm going to do some craft projects, grilling out with friends, cooking, going to church, & relaxing!

I'm loving... these Mason jars I bought! I LOVE drinking pink lemon-aide out of them in the summertime! Or a cold glass of milk at night.

I'm loving... that we got to have a friend date yesterday! It was rare that the 3 of us got to get together :) Didn't get a pic of Lauren.

I'm NOT loving... that the wind & dust is SO bad here. We got caught in a dust storm ( we were sitting on the patio) and all of our drinks were ruined. :( I'm worried because we are in tornado alley.

Weekend Recap

This past weekend we loaded up the Jeep & headed to pretty Brownwood for a sweet 16 party! We had a blast! Here are some pictures from my iPhone - I'm too lazy to upload them from my camera. :) We had to leave our sweet doggies here with friends, but they had fun. Crazy how much I missed them!

It was a great weekend! Back to the real world this week. Speaking of real world - my heart is so sad for those in Joplin, MO. They had over 50 tornadoes hit last night, lots of people who lost everything, and 80 dead so far. Please pray for them.
